H.CO is a true American (small) manufacturing business owned & operated by the Hoener family.

Working in Luxury travel lead Maximilian & Jordan Hoener to consider their relationship to design, manufacturing, consumption and it’s impact on world around them.

H.CO was founded on the principle that craftsmanship is not the enemy of good design. It is still possible in today’s world to build products by hand, from local material and to a craftsmanship standard of 100 years ago.

Passion for the craft informs every decision. The market is flooded with good design and questionable quality at every price-point. H.CO aims to explore and showcase fine craftsmanship, paired with clean modern design.

Maximilian and Jordan began their furniture journey after moving to a small homestead farm in New York’s Hudson Valley. Their decision to save and work with the abundant natural resources from the land also drew inspiration from their past generations.

Max’s grandfather, Arthur Hoener, was a renowned artist, sculptor and fine woodworker.

Jordan’s grandfather, Mike Anaya, is an entrepreneur who overcame impossible odds to become a successful small businessman in rural New Mexico.

Arthur Hoener Jr. serves as H.CO’s graphic designer - drafting digital renderings and plans for projects.
